Abstract

In the event of a cardiac arrest, a victim can die in as little as five minutes. The most important part of anyone’s body is there heart, and anything that obstructs the role this vital organ plays in our body can literally take the life of the person suffering it much faster than one would think. Overview

Supplying our community and emergency response personnel with defibrillators will provide the assistance necessary to save the lives of many. Defibrillators are such a vital piece of equipment that play a role in the acts of saving any patient undergoing cardiac arrest. Such a tool is crucial in saving the patient, for this is what will shock their heart back into working normally again, and get them into a stable enough state to transport them to a medical facility for further treatment.

The best device are those that contain technology that determines through the pads, whether your compression’s are in fact effective, so not only will this device guide through the process of defibrillation (like all AED’s) the 500P will tell you to “Push Harder” Push Slower” or ” Good Compression’s” all based on real cardiac output. Making every second of rescue efforts count with this tried and proven technology.
