Abstract

Emergency Catering keeps essential First Responders on the Frontline.

Overview

Responding to emergency situations requires massive logistics support to those on the frontline. This mobile catering capability provides facilities to ensure that hundreds of first responders are given substantial food and liquids to carry out their arduous duties in a continuous manner. It can operate around the clock with its large backup refrigerated stores unit and in dynamic situations it can be moved quickly to other response areas.  This system will also have a 4 wheel drive food shuttle van that can take food and refreshments to various teams that are in inaccessible areas to the larger catering facility.

Inclusions

We are seeking to raise 950,000 dollars for this Emergency Catering Capability which will include:

• Purchase of the state-of-the-art prime mover and trailer,
• Purchase of a refrigerated stores trailer
• Purchase of a food shuttle van
• Staff training
• On-board cooking and refrigeration equipment
• Air conditioning, FirstNetAU communications and internet
• On road costs including registration and insurance
• Sponsors branding
• Spare parts
• Specialized maintenance tools
• Storage facilities and
• All weather sit down tables and chairs with shade cover.

Availability

The Mobile Catering Facility will be available to all localities in need of emergency response vehicles.

Create a fundraising group

If you, your group or your community raise all the funds for one or many items then those items will be made available directly to a Hospital, Emergency clinic or Paramedic service in the locality of your choice. A plaque will also be placed on the item/s with your name or community as the donor/s for the life of the item.

Become a Volunteer Project Manager for this project

By becoming a volunteer First Responder Project Manager (FRPM) in your locality or company you can determine where the project will be allocated (whether it is a hospital, clinic, rescue unit, ambulance service etc), we will assist you in raising funds in any of our projects and provide you with templates, tools and fundraising information.
